Is tomorrow circled on your calendar? Good Friday is going to be an amazing time of unity as we seek God and align our hearts with his during Converge’s movement-wide National Day of Prayer & Fasting. This is an opportunity for you and your church to come together with Converge churches across the country and missionaries from around the world. Now, more than any time in our generation, uniting in spirit and being intent on one purpose is crucial for our movement and all of God’s people.
A Day of Fasting
Together, we will enter into a time of fasting from sunrise to sundown, giving up the meals we usually consume and replace our physical hunger with spiritual hunger. We’ll reach out to God for divine intervention and prepare for this next season.
Online Prayer Gathering
The Converge national office will provide a live, online guided prayer time at 9 a.m. in each time zone in the continental United States. In addition, there will be another prayer time later in the day for those in Hawaii and Alaska. That means we will have gatherings starting at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. EST, as well as at 3 p.m. EST (9 a.m. Hawaii/11 a.m. Alaska). During this 45 minute time of seeking God, we’ll align our hearts with his and pray on behalf of our world, as well as for our national, state and community leaders.
If you haven’t already, make sure to register to receive the link to join the prayer time of your choice.
