We want to thank everyone who participated in the survey and hope you all have had a chance to read the results. Your responses provided valuable information for us, your elders, as we seek clarity on when to resume our public gatherings.  Perhaps, your answers and comments can be summarized as: “while we greatly value being together in service,  the safety of one another can only be carried out with some burden and difficulty which tends to outweigh the benefits of resuming public gatherings at this time.”  As a composite, these responses were consistent with the perspective of your elders.

Therefore, Gracepoint will remain in a holding pattern regarding resumption of meetings in our building. Of course, the elders will continually assess the timing of reentry based on conditions in Grant County and the State guidelines.  In the meantime, we will continue to send messages to your homes and trust that viewing/listening to these will continue to be sweet times of worship for your families. Of course, we encourage maintaining connections with each other in all possible ways and trust that we will love one another well as the church scattered.

May our God give us grace to  “Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.” Philippians 2:14-15 ESV

Grace to you all,

Dave Gossett, for the Elders of Gracepoint Church
