Colossians 4:7-18

One of my favorite epitaphs is on a grave marker in the cemetery near the Gracepoint building. It reads; “Live for Jesus, Have Few Regrets.” Many of us who knew this brother in Christ would agree that his epitaph certainly reflected his life. How do you want to be remembered?  If you were to write your own epitaph, what would it communicate to the world?

Today’s final message from Colossians comes from Colossians 4:7-18 where the Apostle Paul lists a number of people who “lived for Jesus” and are part of the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the final verses (15-18) Paul moves from the importance of discipleship to lessons on the substance of the local church, the significance of endurance, and the magnitude of grace.
