A Message that Makes a Difference- 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

The letter to the Thessalonians has relevance and direct application for GracePoint.  It is a letter that focuses on how a church finds hope in the midst of challenging times with a focus on the life in the church, the message of the Gospel, and the ministries of the church.

1 Thessalonians is written by the apostle Paul to the church in Thessalonica.  The church of Thessalonica is a church Paul is joyful about because he knows they are a church that has received the gospel.  He is thankful for them and tells them repeatedly. So the question before GracePoint today is, is GracePoint a Thessalonica church? A church where the message of the gospel, the good news, has transformed it with the knowledge that it is loved and the beloved of Christ?  A church built on the message of Jesus Christ.   Do the people of GracePoint allow the goodness of the gospel to impact their lives?
