So many of the idols in this series are every day parts of our lives. It’s important to plan. It’s important to work and to save. But just like an obsession with planning can turn into an unhealthy need for control, work and the accumulation of wealth can turn into a negative aspect of our life when it pulls us from the worship of and focus on a relationship with our God.
