Announcing the Birth of the King: The Announcement to the Shepherds

During this season of Advent we’ve been focusing on the announcement of the birth of Jesus, similar to how parents send out birth announcements to family and friends after their child is born. For the birth of Christ, this predominately happen prior to his birth and included details more important than his name, height, and weight but rather details that helped us know who he is as the Messiah and who he is coming to save.
