Dear Fellow Workers (2 Tim. 2:2), Greetings in the Lord!
The Elders are planning a number of new additions to our GracePoint teaching opportunities this Fall. Pastor Tony and Paul Mayhugh are working on a new class called The Way. This class will run most Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45 am from September 15 to June 29. Tony will be teaching the GP teens. Paul will be teaching the adults along with a few other interested leaders. The class follows the Next Steps class we conducted last Spring which spent eight quick weeks doing a survey of the major doctrines of Christianity, the GracePoint Statement of Faith.
This year we plan to spend 3-4 weeks on each of those essential topics allowing us to have a more in-depth study and understanding The Faith. You will be able to continue to deepen your personal understanding of the Christian Faith as well as build your own solid foundation of the Faith.
Paul’s class is open to all ages, so parents bring your younger children. We will have worksheets for them to fill out as well as questions provided to help facilitate family discussions at the dinner table.
Please be in prayer about this class. Encourage your teens to participate in this class. Please pray for 3-4 people that you could invite to come to this class. The Elders are hoping that most GP attendees will soon have a working understanding of these major truths.
