Women's Ministry

GracePoint Women’s Ministry is dedicated to encouraging and helping its women grow in Christ through knowing, responding to, and sharing God’s Word as they live life and serve others in their areas of giftedness.

We believe the women of the church are more than “what we do!” We play a key role in helping the Elders facilitate not only a number of common “practical needs” within the church body through its women, but we long to ensure that we ourselves are cared for, nurtured, and discipled in Christ.  This includes our coming to know and use our spiritual gifting and learning to teach, facilitate, model, and champion God’s Word and the spiritual values of GracePoint Church.

So come!  There’s a place for you here to have fun, grow in community, serve, and fall more deeply in love with Jesus Christ!

Our Four Ministry Tracks

Our women’s leadership team is working to incorporate biblical thinking into all aspects of each ministry track.  It’s “mentoring and discipleship” in motion, and we invite you to be a part of this journey with us.  Here are our four ministry tracks:

Women’s Teaching

The women’s teaching track has been formed to help ensure women’s ministry teaching materials and resources are in harmony with God’s Word and GracePoint’s adopted Statement of Faith.  It coordinates with a developing GracePoint Curriculum Review Committee and provides assessments and training assistance for Christian women on how to successfully lead discussion groups and teach the Bible. This ministry track also exists to provide biblical teaching and learning opportunities for women within the GracePoint family and beyond for the purpose of relationship, discipleship, and mentoring.

Women’s Outreach

This ministry branch serves to create opportunities for women to gather, be encouraged, and grow in their relationship with God.  It seeks ways to involve women attending GracePoint with a greater understanding and sense of community and the joys of loving God and others at a deeper, more personal level.  Leaders and volunteers sponsor and promote enjoyable, seasonal socials, and workshops/seminars of interest to women and provide opportunities to help meet the needs of women outside the church family in practical, creative ways.

Women’s Hospitality

This ministry track is here to help create a welcoming environment for women’s events and within the church facility.  It includes the coordination of meals, cards, or flowers for those who are sick and in need.  Women’s Hospitality also seeks ways to promote and nourish a hospitality mindset within the women of GracePoint and is committed to helping organize and manage the church kitchen, classrooms, nursery, and more.

Women’s Ministry Events

This ministry track and its volunteers assist with certain aspects of funerals, baptism celebrations, graduating seniors, baby and wedding showers, and congregational celebrations such as Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
